As a justice-oriented instructor, mentor, and researcher, I strive to foster equitable and inclusive classroom and lab environments for my students. I am dedicated to bolstering the engagement and sense of belonging for students with diverse backgrounds and identities (e.g., LGBTQIA+ students, racial and ethnic minority group students, first-generation students, neurodiverse students, disabled students, women) in psychological education and research.

I aim to make psychological research and knowledge accessible to people with diverse backgrounds and identities. Our understanding of the world and of other people improve when we consider the lived experiences and perspectives of people with different social identities.
